Outreach

The NASA USLI competition encourages teams to reach out to younger students to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Charger Rocket Works has a strong history of public outreach and we are very proud to have been awarded "Best Outreach" for the 2008-2009 competition. Members from our team were able to interact with over 500 students in the Huntsville area! We were also featured on an episode of the TV show On The Job, aired on Alabama Public Television (click here for the episode).

For the 2009-2010 competition we are striving to exceed our numbers from last year! If you would like to coordinate an outreach event with Charger Rocket Works, please contact our Outreach Committee by emailing sli@eng.uah.edu.
